When we drift into an unconscious state of mind after retiring to bed and closing our eyes can be termed as SLEEP or we go by the definition found on Wikipedia which defines Sleep as a Naturally recurring state of mind and body characterized by altered consciousness, reduced muscle activity and reduced interaction with your immediate surrounding. Either way, both definitions are on point and agreed on one important aspect of the best case scenario which is "unconscious state of mind".
Now we have to say that sleep should occur to us naturally after going through a rough day at work or Business trips without being induced in any form or way, unfortunately that is so hard to achieve in this 21st century filled with lots of uncertainties and all manner of gadgets that keeps our eyes glued to the Screens of our phones and systems searching for answers to our numerous questions and unavoidable climate changes that keeps us on the edge of a cliff as we do not know what will happen next.
Not being able to sleep is called Sleeplessness which occurs due to the following factors according to Mayo clinic's review;

Bay leaf is an aromatic leaf commonly used in cooking. It can be used fresh, dried or in ground form. PREPARATION
Place 1½ cup of water in a kettle.
Add the bay leaves
Add the tea bags(green or black tea)
Stir and cover.
Allow to boil for 5-10 mins.
Discard the tea bags and leaves
Strain the tea into a cup using a strainer.
Cut the lemon and add the juice to the tea.
Add a teaspoon of honey to taste.
You can either allow it to cool or drink it warm.
Drink it 30 mins before going to bed
Other ingredients can be added if you so desire like.....
