SIX TIPS FOR A BRIGHTER MORNING;
1.Do not step out of bed immediately: Stepping out of bed is the only choice we have after waking up but do not do so immediately. Give yourself some minutes say 15 mins to readjust to reality, get back in the body and allow blood to properly flow to your brain. By waiting,you can stretch, meditate and plan on what to wear and eat. Getting out of bed immediately can lead to STROKE due to reduced blood supply to the brain.

2. Do not make your bed: Making bed as soon as we get out of it has become a subconscious practice but according to reports not making your bed as soon as you wake up will expose the mites, dead skin, sweat and all of it to light and fresh air thereby killing them. So my advice is, wait till evening to make your bed so that your bed can breathe instead of protecting this mites.

5. Choose the right type of soap: We have the Dry skin types and the Oily skin types. Find your skin type and use the appropriate soap for best results. If you have a dry skin, go for the moisturizing soaps like Nivea, Dove, Pears etc. My best is Aloe veda fragrance free bathing soap because it contains both Cocoa butter and Almond oil (a pure luxury for the skin). If you are the oily skin type choose Cetaphil soap, Keika charcoal bar, Sea salt soap, African black soap etc according to Mom junction.

6.Do not go out without a sunscreen: You and I can attest to the fact that the Sun has become very scorching lately especially in Africa so please don't step out without one. Sunscreens are available Nationwide in Superstores, Supermarts and Pharmacy and the prices are dependent on locations. According to goodhousekeeping article, There are two types of Sunscreen,they are the Chemical and Mineral Sunscreen.
Chemical sunscreens absorbs the harmful UV rays before it reaches to your skin without leaving behind a white cast after application. The only downside of this is that it's not long lasting as you will have to reapply it every now and then.
Mineral sunscreens also called physical sunscreen forms a barrier on your skin that reflects or filters UVA and UVB rays. They are long lasting but leaves a white cast behind after application.

But if you can't afford these Sunscreens, you can always go local like me (lol) and make your own Sunscreen by adding olive oil to your cream or lotion and apply on your skin. Olive oil can act as a sunscreen because it has anti-aging properties, helps in moisturizing and softening and contains skin protective antioxidants.

Apply sunscreen on your skin 15 minutes before leaving the house so that your skin will have time to absorb it before the sun does.
